Founded in 2010 by Marlon "Solitaire" King in Blue Island, Illinois, Insomniac Studios started as a Black-owned recording studio serving artists from Chicago's South Side and south suburbs.

Over thirteen years, it evolved into a full creative and communications ecosystem — mentorship, artist development, engineer training, and production infrastructure. No brick and mortar. No limitations.
